Combining traditional instrumentation with the lights and sound, staging and theatrics of a gigging rock band when required - Liquidbrass is very different. Liquidbrass is a versatile ten piece ‘contemporary’ brass band based in the heart of the Midlands. Formed officially in 2012 the band boasts experienced musicians from some of the region’s best brass, show and function bands who have now joined together to create an entirely original kind of party band!

The ‘liquid’ philosophy ensures that the band adapts to every gig – sculpting set lists specifically for each event – be that a festival, pub gig, wedding or traditional concert in the park!

For the most part however - Liquidbrass is a party band!

Selecting from a large database of music, set lists often comprise modern arrangements of largely well-known rock, pop and swing music in a deliberate attempt to create a different musical experience to that found in the more classical based repertoire of a traditional brass band. This philosophy is often extended to the use of electronics and samples to create an entirely unique blend of old and new!
